Feeling frustrated and hopeless

I just can't.

I still don't support rioting (although I know that not everything portrayed by the news as "rioting" is actually rioting - I'm talking about violence, vandalism and theft, not just angry protesting) but man... every day I feel a little bit more and more like I just want to smash things. And that's coming from a person who doesn't suffer from systemic racism on a daily basis. So I definitely get it. It sucks and I hate it, but man do I fucking get it.

How is a cop doing his job and protecting himself from a violent criminal, a
Racist?

What do you know about racism? You are the typical white guilt liberal Moron. What do you do for a living besides post pics of yourself every day?

It's sad to see that the level of frustration from the people has reached a point that the NYC police are under attack. Bratton said today the recent actions has brought us back 40 years and that the police don't trust the mayor. How can a mayor manage the police dept if they don't trust or respect him?

You have a valid point. I find interesting that in many if not most places around the world police are associated with bribery and corruption thus not trusted. What we have in the states is actually one of the best. Lets face it, you give a young person a gun and a uniform and tell them to go out on the street and walk around in some crime ridden neighborhoods. A most predictable outcome is expected. The people that I know who trust police the most are people who have family and close friends who are cops. That is a significant number of people btw when you consider the number of retired cops.
